About this holiday

Corpus Christi is a Catholic feast celebrating the real presence of Christ in the Eucharist, observed on the Thursday (or following Sunday) after Trinity Sunday — 60 days after Easter. In many Catholic countries it is a public holiday marked by processions through streets decorated with flower carpets.
